Yes. It is heated to 84 degrees all year round.

When is the pool open?

Yes. It is heated to 104 degrees.

Do you provide beach towels?

Yes. They are always available at the office.

Do you have hairdryers in the rooms?

Yes. There are irons and ironing boards in all the rooms.

Where is the beach with the seals?

It is on Coast Blvd, about 1 mile north from here.

Do you have a shuttle to the airport?

No. There is a public bus #30 that can take you to the downtown. You can catch a public airport shuttle #992 from the downtown to the airport.
You can take a taxi or a shuttle bus.

Where is the bus stop?

If you are going towards UCSD/Downtown La Jolla the closest bus stop is across La Jolla Blvd in front of the Mandarin House Restaurant.
If you are going towards Old Town/downtown the closest bus stop is on our side of the street to the left from the hotel past Café Vahik and the consignment shop.

How far is the airport?

It is about 14 miles away from us. It will take you about 25 min to drive there.

How much is a taxi/ Uber to the airport?

About $45.

What do you have for breakfast?

Fresh assorted pastries delivered daily from the local bakery (croissants, Danish, scones, bear claws, apple struddels and muffins) assorted bagels, cream cheese, jelly, peanut butter and honey. There is cereal, oatmeal, apples and oranges. We serve coffee, tea, hot chocolate and orange juice.

What time is continental breakfast?

7AM to 10AM in the office.

Are there any restaurants neat the hotel?

Yes. There are 4 restaurants right next to the hotel. Su Casa (Mexican), Mandarin House (Chinese), Café Vahik (Hot breakfast/lunch, gourmet coffee) and La Jolla Tap & Grill (Coastal Americana Dining).

How far is La Jolla Downtown?

About a mile north.

How much are the taxes?

City tax is 12.5% in San Diego.

No. But you can request a ground floor room when you are making you reservation directly with the hotel.

What is your cancellation policy?

24hrs prior to arrival. If you do not cancel by 3pm 2 days prior to arrival there will be a charge for one night, room and tax.

Do you have an early departure fee?

No. You can leave early if you checkout before 11AM.

Do you have adjoining rooms?

No. You can put a request to have 2 rooms next to each other. We also have suites available.

Do you charge my credit card before I arrive?

No. We put a hold on the credit card at the time of arrival and we process the charges after you check out.

Do you have any roll away beds?

No.

Do you provide cribs?

Yes. We provide cribs free of charge.

Do you have a business center?

No.

Could you print me a boarding pass?

Do you have a computer that I can use?

Yes. It's free to receive and we charge for sending.

Yes. You can see the ocean from the Penthouse on the third floor.

Can I have a late check out?

Check out time is 11AM. Please inquire at the front desk in the morning if you need a later check out. The latest check out time is 1pm. After 1 pm there will be a charge for 1 night.
We are a small motel, so we cannot always guarantee a late check out, because our check in time is 1pm. You are welcome to use our pool, Jacuzzi and pool shower facilities after check out. You can also park your car in our parking lot.
