circle image with letter Q. Q for questionDo you have any rooms with a view of the beach?

circle image with letter A. A for AnswerSince we are not right on the beach front, we do not have rooms with ocean view. You can see the water a bit from our King Suite which gives you a great opportunity to enjoy a beautiful sunset. The entire patio would be yours when you book this room. But if you want to enjoy a beautiful sunset while putting your feet in to the water, the WindanSea Beach is just 300 yards away from us.

circle image with letter Q. Q for questionHow far are we from the beach?

circle image with letter A. A for AnswerWe’re about 5 minutes walking distance from Windansea beach, very beautiful and a bit quieter than the other beaches in San Diego and La Jolla.

circle image with letter Q. Q for questionIs La Jolla a safe area to walk after Sunset?

circle image with letter A. A for Answer“La Jolla” translates to “The Jewel” for a reason, and is a much nicer and generally a safer part of San Diego. (But, like with anywhere in the world, we would recommend being cautious at night).

circle image with letter Q. Q for questionIs the beach safe?

circle image with letter A. A for AnswerYes, the beach is safe and there are lifeguards on duty at Windansea in the summertime.  It’s a bit quieter than the other beaches and less “touristy”.  La Jolla offers a wide variety of beaches within just a few miles of each other.  If you’re up for it, you could walk along the beach all the way from Windansea to La Jolla Cove area.  While the waves may be mesmerizing when big, we advise caution while swimming during a large swell.
